Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the Cruz Founder Pass and Beta Pass experience shown on this site. They reflect the current invite-only pre-launch flow as of August 5, 2026.
Invite-only access
The Founder Pass is not open public enrollment. A valid invite from an existing Cruz member is required to claim a pass through this experience. Cruz may refuse, pause, or revoke access if an invite is misused, duplicated, automated, or obtained through abuse of the flow.
Founder and Beta allocation
Founder Pass allocation is limited. If Founder allocation remains and the invite source is still eligible, a new verified member may receive a Founder Pass. Once Founder allocation is exhausted, or where the invite path no longer qualifies for Founder allocation, the user may instead be offered a Beta Pass. Current Beta Pass values shown in this experience are promotional and may change before broader rollout.
Ride credit value
Founder Passes currently carry N5,000 in ride credit. Beta Passes may carry N3,000 or another promotional amount shown at the time of claim. Ride credit is promotional only. It is not cash, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be redeemed outside Cruz EV, and cannot be exchanged for legal tender or transferred outside supported Cruz EV tools.
How credit works
Ride credit is intended to reduce eligible Cruz EV ride fares on a one-naira-for-one-naira basis, subject to operational rules that may be introduced before launch. Per-ride caps, launch-area restrictions, redemption windows, and service availability will be defined by Cruz EV when live ride operations begin.
Who may hold a pass
A pass is tied to the verified WhatsApp number used during claim and to Cruz's fraud controls. One person may not hold multiple passes through multiple numbers, browsers, or devices. Cruz may block, suspend, merge, or void duplicate or suspicious claims without notice where abuse prevention requires it.
Verification and access
Claiming or reopening a pass may require one-time password verification. If a number already holds a pass, Cruz may return the existing pass instead of creating another one. Access to a pass may also depend on a valid browser session or other device checks used to protect the invite-only system.
Invites and member sharing
Members may receive a limited number of invites depending on their pass type. Invite availability, invite acceptance, and member progression can change as the program evolves. Cruz may limit or discontinue invite features to protect launch quality, prevent abuse, or manage allocation.
Launch geography and timing
Cruz EV services, credits, and pass benefits apply only where Cruz EV is operating and where the benefit is enabled. This pre-launch experience does not guarantee immediate ride availability in every city or district. Launch dates, live zones, and service conditions will be announced separately.
Physical card or member perks
Any mention of physical cards, premium treatment, or additional member privileges is promotional and subject to change. Unless Cruz expressly confirms a benefit in writing inside the live product, such benefits should be treated as conditional launch-program features rather than guaranteed contractual entitlements.
Changes to the program
Cruz EV may change pass design, invite rules, credit amounts, eligibility rules, verification steps, launch timing, or benefit structures where reasonably necessary for operations, fraud control, regulatory compliance, or product improvement. Material changes will be reflected in the product or updated legal pages.
